AN EXCITING OPPORTUNITY IN THE WINTERLESS FAR NORTH
We are looking for a new rural LMC to join an already established practice.
Kaitaia has a primary birthing unit and the secondary birthing unit is located in Whangarei 2 ½ hours away.
The area is large geographically, but every drive has stunning views.
Rural experience preferred but not essential. Most women choose to birth in the water and we have a 15-20% homebirth rate.
Due to the distance to the secondary unit, the applicant needs to be comfortable with woman exercising their right to an informed choice e.g. VBAC in a primary unit
Come and enjoy the stunning coastline, beaches and bush, plus the houses aren’t too expensive here yet either! With all women falling under the rural area code, it is easy to maintain a good income as long as you love driving and rural midwifery.
Please feel free to contact me for more information regarding caseload numbers and time off.
