An opportunity has arisen in Taihape for an enthusiastic midwife, with an interest in experiencing rural midwifery.  The position would initially be full time fixed term while covering parental leave with the potential to become permanent at the end of the twelve month term.

You would be working in a well supported team with regular days off. There is plenty of variety, challenges and rewards.
THL has a caseload of between 90-110 women per year, with approximately 35 birthing in our lovely cozy, post-natal unit each year. Water birth and home birth are also options. We are BFHI accredited and enjoy high breastfeeding rates.
All midwives have access to an excellent midwifery education programme
